I am passionate about health care reform, protecting our voting rights, having a strong public educational system, eliminating systemic discrimination, & properly caring for the mentally ill to help reduce addiction issues, the incarceration of the mentally ill, and homelessness.
We can have low taxes with fiscal responsibility and not disregard important social issues. We start by properly educating our children with a well-funded public school system and helping our mentally ill by removing them from the prison system or living on the streets and getting them proper professional help. Not only will the quality of their lives go up, but their financial contribution to our economy will help keep everyone's' taxes lower in the long run.
We have to fight for more money in the state budget for public education. We cannot continue to be among the most poorly funded public-school systems in the country! We owe our children better than that!
Voting for the people and policies that we believe in is a fundamental part of a fair and just society. When laws are created that interfere with that right, it typically affects the marginalized members of society the most and their voices are not heard. We need to protect Mail-in voting to help ensure voting is more accessible to everyone.
There is no reason why families should be without health care. Legislators need to get their priorities straight!
Adequate funding will solve so many problems such as homelessness, the needless incarceration of the mentally ill, and getting help to those who desperately need it right now!
The main goal of prisons should be to punish and rehabilitate, not make profits!
We need to invest more in our public mental health system which is ranked nearly last in the country in funding, so we can reduce the large number of mentally ill in the Arizona prison system and thereby reduce the need for private prisons.
Women have the right to make decisions about their own bodies free of government interference
Why can an unstable 20-year-old kid walk into a gun store and buy an AR-15 legally and immediately go murder 19 children and 2 teachers?
Responsible gun ownership - YES
Selling AR-15's to civilians - NO
We have a system in our society that treats Blacks, Latinos, women, LGBTQ members, & Native Americans as second-class citizens in almost every way imaginable. They are underrepresented in politics, Boards of Directors, law enforcement, and in supervisory roles. They are almost always a second choice, aren't paid as much, and get promoted less. We need to stop pretending this issue does not exist and take positive constructive meaningful action to correct it!
We need to encourage our economy to grow. However, Arizona corporations need to pay their fair share of income taxes. Most Arizona corporations only pay the ridiculously low amount of the minimum $50 in income taxes!?
We need to impose term limits so that we can weed out corruption and move forward with a new generation of ideas, beliefs, and laws that match the current will of the people.

Help me make a difference!
I want to improve funding for public education & health care, preserve our voting rights, and adequately fund our public mental health system to properly care for the mentally ill. Furthermore, I want to help eliminate systemic racism, sexism, ageism, and LGBTQ discrimination to ensure equal treatment for all our citizens.
If you vote for me, I will make a difference!
As your State Senator, I pledge to propose and support legislation that helps accomplish these goals and oppose legislation that does not.
I have been an Arizona resident for more than 45 years. I love this state and I want to give something back. We need responsive committed leadership in our legislature from real citizens who actually represent the people, not career politicians. My background includes almost 30 years as an Arizona Realtor. I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association of Realtors and the Phoenix Realtors, and I am working to help and contribute to the betterment of our industry. My education includes college degrees in Communication and Law Enforcement. I have had various jobs related to my education including service in the military. In addition to that, I have started and managed several small businesses in Arizona over the years, so I understand how difficult it is for small business owners to get health insurance for themselves and their families first-hand. I have raised some amazing children here in our great state. My youngest child (in this picture) is in high school now. I want to do my part to make Arizona as good as it can be for them and my grandchildren.
If we join together and make our voices heard, we can fight for the change we want to see!
Voting serves all of us. Thank you for your commitment.
